Default Exclusive by PMI Nutrition

PMI Nutrition's Exclusive large bread puppy formula was recommended to me by a close friend of the family who owns a feed store. I looked into the feed and everything seems to be pretty good. Has anyone else heard of or uses this food? I could really use some opinions on this.

Well, just taking a glance of the ingredients, it doesn't appear too bad. I don't like the corn gluten meal, it is a highly allergenic ingredient for dogs and is basically a non nutritious filler, as is beet pulp. Other than that, not bad. I wouldn' worry about large breed formulas. Boxer's are not considered large breed, they are actually a medium breed. You could go with a regular puppy formula or even an all life stages food.

GSX1996 - I just looked it up on dogfoodanalysis and it rates as a 3 star food, same as Diamond products. I was feeding my older boxer Pro Plan, and that only rated as a 1 star. So it's a decent food. For the price it's not bad. I switched my older male over to Premium Edge (4 stars and only $32 bucks a bag).
