Default satin balls

I found this recipe online and the fur kids like it alot. but these really pack on the pounds so unless your pup uses alot of extra energy or is on the thin side watch how much you give them

Thought I would share the recipe.

1 lb ground beef
1 8 oz pkg cream cheese
1 jar all natural peanut butter
1 jar (smaller of the sizes) wheat germ
1 doz egg yolks
1 cup or so of flaked oats soaked in heavy cream

Mix up, form balls, freeze, feed as treats or food supplement.

Going to have to try this to help mia with her weight. She lost soooo much from the broken leg and surgery. Is it okay to feed this and kibble or is this a meal in itself until she gets to ideal weight??

You can use with kibble as a snack between meals to add pounds

ok you go to "fourms" click the sub topic food for the boxer belly go to the bottom of the page where it says show for the ________ and it has a drop down menu that lets you put in a time frame (it defaults to 2 weeks) and put "begining" in the blank and you will find tons of treat recipes and healthy snacks there are 4 pages of posts including home cooking, "cakes" and just about anything else that is good for them there are even a few "barf" recipies but most of the treats are simple and easy to make ther are some great pumpkin ones my kids love and since fresh pumpkin is cheap to get right now even better also you do not Have to use natural p/b store bought is ok too just watch the sugar content

We have been feeding these for awhile now..the girls love them! Stella (very underweight) when we got her benefited greatly from these yummy treats..I ALWAYS have some in my freezer..one Time I swear as I am sitting here, I came home from work, to find hubby eating a burger I had premaid that was in the freezer. By the time I had finished peeing in my pants from laughter, I informed him it was the dogs Treats..LMAO by that time he was about done (SO I SUGGEST LABELING THEM)..however this is the same man that can't tell the difference between dog shampoo and human shampoo, so......Back off ladies he is all mine..ROFLMAO
