Same here. Many of the towns in my area cut out the open T or T opting for T or T parties thru the schools or community centers for safety reasons and many of the police stations offer free X-raying...

Hopefully you notifed someone in charge to get that package of meat pulled off the shelf so someone didn't actually get sick.......and there is always the consumer's ability to notify the health dept...

ditto if it gets worse in the next day or so go back to the vet for xrays etc. Call the resuce and inquire about any injuries, injections etc.

Had this happen once and Stop Bleed powder and severals layers of liquid bandage did the trick. Just watch for signs of infection and treat with antibiotic ointment if that occurs.

Best to avoid brands that contain corn which is a cheap filler grain and can be an allergen in some...
