We had a Siberian husky that had seizures several times a month from the time he was 2 years old until we had to put him down when he was 9 years old they were nothing like you are describing.

At this age she's probably sleeping most of the time. Unless your MIL holds her the entire time she's there you shouldn't have a problem. You have plenty of time the rest of the day for her to bond...
