Definitely crate her and I would make a 50/50 vinegar solution to spray where she has peed on the bed to help kill the odor so she can't smell her previous spots. We always crate train first but dogs...

Also watchin her poop for worms is a good idea as most puppies seem to have them from my experience. Always a good idea to do a round of worming but watching the poop should show you if she has some....

Did the vet say for sure that it was dry skin? Oily skin flakes like that as well. Simple test: when you pet her in the flaky areas, rub well for a 30 seconds or so and then rub your fingers together...
