Well, I took Buster and Olive to Petco today to spend his prize money from Halloween and to a dog park. We have never been to a dog park, we had to drive an hour to the town with Petco and the park. They had a blast! I took a couple of pictures and I hope I can get them there once a week now. They loved all the dogs there and made new friends.
for a second I thought the fluffy white dog was a cat 8O dun ask why though lol. I remember Bo's first trip to the one by us. His best friend ended up being a giant great dane puppy.
Thats what I was thinking! We are lucky to have a fence around the ones by my house. No benches or cool water pumps.. Looks like they had a good time, and I bet they slept REALLY good after that!

It is a really nice park. They are trying to get one in my town, but I know it probably won't be anything like this one. I really can't wait to go back.
And no, they were still ready to go when we got home! 8O I was shocked! We were there for an hour at least and they ran so hard. They are crashed now though, I bet they don't wake up for a while!
Wow, what a nice park...and the pups look like they found a few new BFF's!! Love that snow-white dog...forget the breed, but he's beautiful. Nice pix!!
Great park! great pics!! I bet they had a blast! I am surprised the have flowers left anymore! I have to watch layla around flowers. Even on walks as we walk by and in a split second the flowers are gone. It is so embarrassing because the first time she did it she took out a few of the neighbors just flowered plants. I had to go home and research to make sure they were poisonous
Here are a few shots of what Buster got with his prize money. There are a couple more toys, but these are his favorite. He got a new bed because while we were at the KSU football game on Sat. Olive felt the needs to rip his apart and spread the stuffing all over the kitchen! He is not sharing with Olive very nicely either.!
The white dog is actually a pure white Siberian Huskey. You can see the other husky the owner had in one of the pictures. I had never seen a pure white husky before!
I had to pitch in a bit for the bed. The next size down that they had was a bit too small. He got two cuz balls (one to share with Olive), a new rope toy and the bed. He loved it in Petco, he had never been. I took Olive every week when she was in obedience because that is the town where her class was. She got a new toy every time we went. They are just a bit spoiled.
AWwww.....he looks so comfy in his bed!!!! SO precious!! I love your two!! They sound like a real bro and sis fighting over toys and beds!! Olive ripped apart his bed! SO funny!
Looks like they really enjoyed themselves at the dog park. A very nice park too! How do they keep the grass with all those doggies running around????
Buster looks really comfy in his new bed. He does have really great taste!
A dog park with flowers? 8O Daisy would spend the entire time trying to eat them.
I know everyone has differing opinions on dog parks, but we found one that we LOVE. The owners and dogs are awesome (usually the same group of people) and the park is big and beautiful.
I'm glad you & your babies had such a good time - what a special treat for them!
That is a nice park - there are two close to us but they are just grass with a fence around it, not even any shade - not very nice and not very big either. I've never taken Q to one - she's got lots of room here and an occasional pal to play with. If our park was as nice as that I'd probably go to it too. I love that last pic where you can just see one eye peeking out of his bed - too cute. SuzyQ likes to horde her stuffies in and around her bed too, and she doesn't have any siblings to protect them from, I guess she's just being over cautious. :lol2:
I couldn't believe all the new plants and trees planted at the dog park, I was so impressed! It even had a sand box for them to play in and of course another section for the small dogs. It also had a covered area with picnic tables in it for gatherings or in case it is snowing or raining for shelter. I'm going to go back on Sat. if the weather is nice. I don't care if it is an hour away, they loved it and there were some really nice people there.
