Well a friend told me about ALI a male boxer dark brindle or sealed cant really tell by pics but they say hes black with white chest, and paws and allitle on his muzzle.  I contacted the animal shelter he is at and I am going to bring attila on friday to go see him and hopefully bring him home.  the adoption fee is 100.00 but once he is neutered, upto date on shots, and seen by our vet; you get 75.00 back plus 50.00voucher to go to getting him neutered.  He weighs 51 pounds and is heartworm NEGative. He knows some commands and is good with other dogs, and also walks well on a leash (this is what they say).

Well I just got off the phone a little bit ago with the animal shelter and there is a few families interested in him as well as a boxer rescue....(maybe boxerrebound...dont know).

Why would they give him to a boxer rescue, if a family (like you) is interested?  I don't get that.

I would think they'd rather see him in a family situation right off the bat instead of in another kennel-type situation.. but who knows... GOOD LUCK!!! :thumbup:

Just received phone call from the humanes society in Canton, IL and I got horrible news for us but good news for ALI.

bad news first... I am unable to adopt him.

Good news.... He is being adopted tomorrow by another family that lives closer to the animal shelter...maybe they have a fence...lol

I'm sorry, i know you were drooling over the guy..but now he has a nice home, so that's good!  Maybe you will end up with a gentle giant instead, lol!
