Well, Boru is settling in really well with us, and is coming out of his shell more and more every day. He is a big gentle giant and all he wants is to be loved. We are working on his confidence, as he still goes around with his head hanging down (although nowhere near as bad as he was), and he still hasn't quite adjusted to the fact that he's allowed on the couch - he'll go up there when you're not in the room but jump down as soon as he hears you coming! I'm sure the'll get over that quick enough, though! Emmet and I have already decided that we need a bigger sofa, though - as you can see below, we need it now!
We took him to the vet on Wednesday and she said that apart from the fact that he's a bit skinny, he's in absolutely perfect health. She also reckons that he's only about 18 months old, which is way younger than we thought - we had him at around 3. The poor guy is only a puppy! A big one, though! You can really see the size difference between him and Hector (who birthday it is today, btw!) in this pic.
And finally, one of the whole trio, just for fun! Poor oul Hector hs been booted down to 3rd fiddle since his arrival. Tink is still very much the alpha dog, though! She's our little matriarch!
