Hello everyone!!!  I am Lilly's mom.  Lilly is a two year old, white Boxer girl.  She has one lue eye and one brown eye.  She is one beautiful girl.  She has no adverse health due to her coloring (i.e.: deafness or blindness).  She is a typical Boxer girl, but for her coloring.  She is also my Certified Hearing Service Dog.

You see, I am a dog trainer that, within the last eight months, has gone profoundly deaf in my right ear and moderately deaf in my left ear.  This makes for a very interesting time training people to train their dogs.  The dogs respond well, if not better, to hand signals, but the people can be clueless!!! LOL!!!  Lilly helps me with everything.  She lets me know when my kids or other people are calling for me.  She wakes me up (she is trained to the alarm clock).  She lets me know when people ring the doorbell or knock on the door.  She lets me know when the phone is ringing.  She even lets me know when my kids are "hiding out" and doing something stupid!!!  She does a lot more than all this, but I don't want to bore you quite yet!!!  LOL!!!

She goes everywhere with me!  She is a huge hit at the grocery store.  The managers have requested that I let them know when she is there.  When I told them that it is against the law to try to make me do that, they said that they don't want to keep me from coming in.  They have treats for her at the customer services desk and they want to make sure that she can have some when she gets there and before we leave. :D   Bank tellers, drive thru window clerks,...everyone loves her!!!  She is a great ambassador for the breed and Service Dogs everywhere!!!

As soon as I can I will get pick up of her!!!  She's a beauty!!!

Also, for anyone that is having Boxer Acne issues!!!!::  My vet has recommended using Oxy Pads on my baby and to wipe her face after every meal.  She said that acne can be common on a very flat faced, full of wrinkles Boxer and that so long as the acne is treated (even if it continues) that it should be fine.  She also said that using Neosporin on the acne spots that have broken is fine and can keep a potentailly narly Staph infection at bay.

She also said that my Boxer (who looks skinny to me) is working on filling out and that the "Narrow" appearance is the standard  healthy Boxer look.  She would rather her be a little "narrow" than be a little heavy.

Thanks for reading about us!!!

My hearing has been a long time in coming.  It has slowly been going down hill for the last three years.  It was a surprise to wake up one morning and not be able to hear out of my right ear.  For the most part it doesn't bother me.  God doesn't give us any more than we can handle.

And YES!!!!  THANK GOD FOR LILLY!!!!  She has been my savior!!!

She loves to work, but she is still a stubborn hard headed Boxer.  She has saved my life.  I had her wait (not sit at a curb because if I step out and don't hear/see a car coming she needs to be able to step in front of me to block my path) at a curb before crossing the street at a less than busy intersection.  When I deemed it okay, we strated to cross.  She promptly blocked me (trained behavior) and backed me up onto the sidewalk (Excellent Boxer judgement).  Just as we both get up pnto the sidewalk, a kid in a sporty little car comes flying out of the parking lot beahind us and narrowly misses nailing us on the curb!!!  If she hadn't stopped me, we both would be dead.  Three witnesses called the cops on the kids and he was ticketed three blocks down from the intersection that he nearly killed us at.  The witnesses attributed my safety to my Boxer Baby and I agree 100%!!!

Thank you Lilly!!! :D  :D  :D  :D

She's a sassy one, my Silly Lilly!!!  I get that look a lot when I take pics of her.  Unless the VEST is on.  Then she knows she is working and she has a goal.  She also knows she can show off for the camera in her vest.  What she hasn't figured out is that she can show off for the camera anytime she likes.  Vest or no vest!!!

PS--Where did you do your Boxer baby banner at?
