Our 2 year old Wesley is a fun, loving guy all the time except when my wife and I walk him together. I walk him in the evenings and mornings and my wife does a midday walk during which he is fine. However when we walk him together his whole attitude changes. He breaths heavily and seems to be agitated. He is usually very social but when he gets like this he can get aggressive with other dogs, which is just not him. Anyone ever experience anything like this? Other than this he is a great dog.

He’s protecting his “pack” meaning you and your wife together and him. You could try some redirecting on him don’t take him the same way every time you are walking together try walking new areas as well.
