So I log onto here.  I see that there are new messages because the circle with the arrow is red.  Sometimes though the circle with the arrow is blinking from red to green.... and then other times it will go to a deep blue..... why is this?

When it's blinking it's considered an unread hot topic. A topic with 25 or more posts blinks. If you've read the blinking post it turns to the dark blue.

Kinda thought that was what it was...See, Anne, you are braver than me..Lol...I just thought it was pretty colors......
