We have two boxers - 20 months and 8 months and both work full time.
I work full time and my bf works very late hours. Luckily I live close enough to my job that I can come home during lunch to spend some time with Fredo and take him out for a bit.  However, I don't think he's getting out enough so I am currently looking into daycare or a dog walker a couple days a week. It's just hard b/c my bf doesn't trust anyone so we'll see .....
I have been thru two dog walkers.  One was a friend of my sister's who failed to show up one day - so we fired her. Then I had to interview.  You know who you can trust and who you cannot.  Make sure they are insured and bonded.  Also references as well as if they have backup if they are sick.

I swear I live by mine.  Its also good because she is about 3 miles away.  So shall I get locked out, get stuck somewhere, she is right there and can take care of my kids.   Like having a nanny.
Thanks for the tip. I will def. look into that. Also, do you mind if I ask around how much they usually charge?
My husband and I both work full time and Bruce is great for 8-12 hours, but we rarely go over 9 because we just don't think it's fair to him, and we once went an extended period where we weren't home enough and he acted up (tossed the garbage can around the living room)  we got the message and made adjustments.

He also gets to go to work with hubby one day a week and he loves that
One dog was 15.00 two dogs is 25.00 for me.

In the summer my cousin comes over and spent the entire day with them  since she is out of school - so we luck out!   I have learned that when you work full time you *must* make time for exercise.  An dog/pup that does not get enough exercise will act out.   We had this issue with Kash.  We'd lose a chair, a dog bed etc anything in his path.  Now that he gets to go to daycare 2 days a week, the destruction has been eliminated.

Hanna can do the 8 hours alone however I try never to go over 6-7.
Thanks. I see that petsmart now has daycare too, I think I'm going to look into that as well.
My ultimate dream though would be to quit my job and open my own doggie daycare.
