Who all plans to go, its put on by Green Acres Boxer Rescue for a fund raiser?  I would love to do a meetup with BF members>  Kiah and I will be going for sure, I had a friend who was going to go with me so I could bring Keegan too but had to cancel>  I am going to see if I can get anyone else so he can come.  There is CGC testing, lure course, radar run (not sure what this is yet), it was so much fun last year and so many boxers.  I plan to wear my forum t-shirt so I will be easy to find.

A kidney bean contest? That is adorable!! That looks like a lot of fun. I'm already going to the MEHS fundraiser or else I may have taken a road trip. Plus, I'd be able to stock up on Packers gear!!
Aww that sounds like an absolute BLAST- wish I lived closer...so do Sadie and Drake  :(

I can't wait to see the pics though!

the park where they have it is only a few blocks away from the stadium, so you would have been close.  Anyone know what a radar run is, when I did a search only saw snowmobile references.

Aww jeez. I definately could have loaded up on gear. I already pretty much have a Packers shrine but I can always use more.  :D  It is hard to find women's Packers apparel here - everything is Favre yet!  :x  Maybe a radar run is just where they use a radar gun to see how fast the dogs can run kind of like at carnivals when they use one to see how fast you can throw a baseball.
Yes, that's it, found a reference.  I think Kiah is fast so it will be fun to see how fast she is.

Barb, did you go? How was it?
We ended up going at the last minute Barb.  Would a great show with lots of auction items, and home-made treats.  I hope they did well despite the rain problem.  The outdoor events went on anyway, and I loved all the dogs that excaped during the timed sprint.  So many Boxers, I got my fix.

We did sit behind a nice owner with a young Brindle male.  We ended up covered with kisses (when he crawled under the seat) and forget any makeup I was wearing.  My husband told me later that was the dog that had won the kissing contest.  We're going next year again for sure.

I pulled something in my neck again so can't turn my head without turning my whole body so I was afraid to drive 3 hours to Green Bay with my nephews son and Kiah in the car.  Couldn't find someone at the last minute to drive me.  I was so disappointed but I heard the bash went well and they will be putting pics up on the website.  Sounds like they missed out on all the rain too.

I was glad the rain held out for the MEHS fundraiser too. It didn't rain here until after two in the morning which was good for me because I went to a Journey, Heart, and Cheap Trick concert with my mom. It's an outdoor ampitheater so if it had 'hurricained' we would have been in trouble.
