Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone ever had an issue with their boxer not being able to chew their food? Our boxer, Saige, just recently started this, she tried to eat but the food just falls out of her mouth and after a few tries she gives up. We took her to the vet and they did blood work and took a sample of a lump in her throat(waiting on results) the vet mentioned something called masticatory myositis, has anyone heard of this?

MY boxer isn't great at chewing, but that is just him we soften his kibble now as otherwise he chokes on eat. We do notice our guy has small teeth for a boxer. It sounds like it could be related to the lump in her throat, perhaps it hurts her when she chews. I hope they can help her. Please keep us posted.

Update on my Saige:
The lab results on the lump in her throat came back inconclusive so we are going back to the vet tomorrow to have another sample taken.
