Do you use or have you used a doggy daycare? If so:

How often and for how long?
For what reason?
How far from home to you travel to get there?
Is there a trainer at your facility?
Groomer?
Are there many doggy daycares in your area (and what area are you in?)?
Why did you choose the facility you chose?
How did you learn about it?
If you did use one, but stopped, how come?
Thanks!

How often and for how long? sometimes a couple times a month, used for 3 years

For what reason? Had to travel for buisness, vacations, just to get a break.

How far from home to you travel to get there?  5 miles

Is there a trainer at your facility? Yes

Groomer?  Yes

Are there many doggy daycares in your area (and what area are you
in?)?  No, the one I used was in Albuquerque,NM... I am now in Central Georgia.. Only 1 and its about 35 miles

Why did you choose the facility you chose? The one in NM, I visited and met the staff. Everything was great and took care of my dog so well I never had to worry about her.

How did you learn about it?  found it in the yellow pages

If you did use one, but stopped, how come?  We moved, I miss it soo bad.

If you are deciding on day care, alway visit the facilities before your babies go there and meet the staff and get a tour if you can. It gives you a piece of  mind and while your babies are there call and check up on them.
I have yet to put my boxer in daycare, I have boarded him once and they just got  turn outs just with him and my other dog. No group play, i don't think he is old enough (6 months) for group play

Brought Kiah last week for the first time; 3 days.

For what reason?
Had a training in Madison and wasn't able to let her out during the day.

How far from home to you travel to get there?  10 minutes

Is there a trainer at your facility? They have hired Kiah's obedience trainer to work there.  Not everyday but 2 or 3 days a week.  They also have a behaviorist (owner) and 5 vet techs that work there.  They do a report card the first visit and found that Kiah was a bit agressive with toys.  They worked with her on that and she is doing much better.  I plan to take her to daycare every other week to keep up with socialization.

Groomer? Yes

Are there many doggy daycares in your area (and what area are you in?)?  Not that I am aware of.   Southern WI

Why did you choose the facility you chose?  Recommendation by my trainer and it is where we have our obedience classes.

How did you learn about it? Trainer

If you did use one, but stopped, how come?

Yes.  Just a couple of times.
Because my grandma was in hospital.  Grandma's funeral.
About 25-30 miles away; we live out in the middle of nowhere!
Vet and vet staff on had/own & operate the kennel.
I think this is the only one that does "day care".  Lake Jackson, TX; about 55 miles south of Houston.
My vet told me about it.
Only use it when I have to, just cause I don't like leaving my baby!
Toured the facility, got a "free" trial of an hour to see how pup would react.  They do have supervised group play.  No fighting allowed!  Instigators are put in a different area.  Bath given before leaving if you wish.  They feed per your instructions.  They are great!
