Last night we noticed a bubble like lump appear(out of nowhere) on our Gigi's front left shoulder. It is soft and seems fluid filled, looks like the bubble critters get after a vaccine.
This bubble lump just appeared, no warning at all. It's about the radius of half dollar, maybe a little bigger. It's relatively flat, like a thick pancake almost. I'm not terribly concerned, but figured I'd post and see if anyone's seen this type of thing before.
Gigi is a 6.5 month old fawn female. So she's very young, if she was an older dog bumps and lumps wouldn't concern me as much. As they are more common in aging dogs. She's very lively and 100% her crazy, hyper self! The bubble lump does not appear to phase her at all, not even when touched or lightly pressed on. I have two little kids that have been climbing all over her since it's appeared and she's showed absolutely no sign that it is bothering her.
I've made her a vet appointment to have it checked, but wanted to see what you all thought!
Thanks.
