Maybe you can help me flesh out a theory I have developed!LOL!  It seems to me that the White boxer babies who have brindle patches tend to have MORE spots...as if the brindle markings are trying to get through...and the ones who have a fawn patch(or come from fawn parents) have very FEW spots!! So, how does this bear out with your babies????

Owned by two white boxers! Tink as you might see, has a big brindle spot over her eye, maybe its just me, but she doesnt have brindle spots showing threw, it might be because her coat is very dense and thick. But when she is wet, shes got lots of spots that are brown that show threw.

Since Blitzens arrival we've been wondering about spots too :D She has fawn parents and so far all I can find are 3 tiny, tiny fawn specks. Two on her right ear and one on her right leg. What's weird though is her muzzle and below her eyes. The hairs are white at the root and a reddish/fawn color at tips??? I wonder what markings she'll grow into? By comparison Donner has black spots on his belly that have darkened as he got older so, you may be right about the brindles being  dominant "darkening"  :D

Delilah was completely white at about 1 year when I adopted her.  she had spots on her skin but her fur was all white.  Now, at about 6 years- you can see she has lots of spots in her fur, and even more on her skin.  I think she would be brindle as she has black and brown spots- but no patches with visible stripes of brindling.
Felix is still pretty much white, but already has 4 tiny spots on his body and a couple spots on his ears. I can't tell whether he would have been fawn or brindle, but I expect him to get more spots as he ages too :)
I actually got a dalmation "angel" christmas ornament b/c it looked more like Delilah than the boxer ornaments!

Tink has also gotten more spotty as she gets older (she'll be 2 in May), but they are all on her skin underneath the fur, rather than patches of coloured hair, if you know what I mean.  The only coloured "hairy" patches she has are over her eye, a little splodge right in the middle of her chest and a tiny one on her right ear.

Here, you can see that her skin was snow white (pr pink, depending on the light!) when we first got her

6 months old, and you can see some more spotting showing through her hair

18 months old, and this is as spotty as she's gotten.  You can see what I mean here, that they're on the skin rather than pigmented hairs.
