Its been a while since I have had a puppy in the house, and I know they can get into anything, but we watched Chloe pretty much all night the night before and she did not get into anything but her food which she has been eating for 4 weeks+ now. All of the sudden come 3:30 she is wimpering to go out. Unusual because she has apated herself to sleeping and holding anything from 10:30 - 6:30 and 8:30 - 4:30 while we are at work. She has done excellent. anyways before I could get out of bed she had gone all over the floor. She goes outside and does it again. Won't eat any of her food, come back from work around 12:00 to check on her and it look like she exploded her bowels within her kennel, let her outside as she is walking lets out more, than lastly comes a little blood. She went the next 4 hours okay than went soupy poo 4 times within 2 hours, and would not eat again. around 9pm she (rings the bell whenever she wants out) rings, and bam all over hte floor with some more blood. This morning no blood, but still very little appetite and more soupy poo.

Calling the vet if it has not changed by this evening. I usually don't delay calling the vet, but I kind of associated this to puking till there is nothing left but blood coming out.
Her temperment has been normal, a little sleepy today.

Any thoughts?

Is she current on vaccinations.... it could be parvo or distemper... both serious serious....  parvo poo would be a horrible recognizable smell....

Have you ever given her a nyla bone to chew on..... there are some posts on here about how those destroy the inside of your dog and are most often fatal.

I would not wait to call your vet.  She is young and the sooner you get her on meds, the better.  Keep us posted.

(I am not a vet- I have just had to go over these possiblities with my puppy because he seizured recently.)

Any time you see blood in vomit or pooh is not normal . I would get her to the vet asap, or at least call and see what they say.  Hope she is feeling better today.

I would call the vet to be on the safe side.  Seeing blood would make me a little nervous.  At least, you will feel better knowing it is the flu than worrying about it and not knowing.  Keeping our paws crossed that she starts feeling better real soon!  Keep us posted!
