I noticed that Willow has been itching her chin a ton recently. I finally found the problem last night (I think!). She has a couple deeper wrinkles under her chin that look irritated.
Does anyone clean their boxer's wrinkles?
What should I use to clean them so they don't get irritated again?

Pic is of one wrinkle (I spread it apart), you can see it's dark in colour.

I just use warm water and a dish rag after Zuke eats or is playing outside. If he has any irritation I usually put a little bit of coconut oil on the area.

Oh yes, We clean Kai's chin and wrinkles after eating and drinking. Well not every drink but we could, lol. If not he is lifting his leg up to scratch and has actually cut his chin on his nails. He will start to get yeast I think, which makes him itchy.

This is helpful advice for prevention and one of the reasons I really like this forum. I learn something new almost every time I'm on.

Jax was irritated in this area and had a couple of ingrown hairs a few months back, the vet recommended topical benzoil peroxide from any pharmacy/store to help the area heal up faster. It worked fast and well and we have plenty left in the tube if he or the others need it.
