Hi I am new to this site. I have a question about my 1 1/2 year old Boxer. First off, I live in a climate where it is hot and humid and tropical. Second it has cooled off about twenty degrees. Third we are moving. The point is we are about to move and my dog (Oscar) is having Diarrhea. Could this  be from all the stress and the tempature change? One other thing, I gave him some Beniful and after that he started to ahve some problems. He has not lsot weight and he is as energitc and playful as ever. I am going to be taking him to the vet Friday afternoon. Also, he isn't dehydrated from what I can tell. Thanks for everything

Beneful has a lot of fillers (corn and wheat) in it that many boxers are allergic to which can cause problems for them.  Stress also could cause diarrhea but IMO it is the food.

Thanks that is what I thought. I weaned him off of it and he has it. So I started giving him Slippery elm bark and honey. Hopefully this will stop shortly. The color looks good and there is no blood. He also is hasn't lost his appetite. So we will see in the next day or so.

Another thing you can use is a teaspoon of canned pumkin with his meals, only get the regular canned pumpkin and not the kind for pie filling.  A little natural plain no fat yougurt at night will help settle him tummy if he is vomiting.  Kiah would often vomit at night when she had allergies to the food she was eating.
