my one year old boxer ate the foam padding underneath the carpet from a room we are fixing up- he was  vomiting we gave him some pepto and that seemed to help. i have tried the search engine here and am unable to locate the thread re: frozen cotton balls to help if this kind of thing happens again.

Any one remember?

Nope dont remember but do know if your dog eats anything glass, they suggest to feed cotton balls so that the cotton will bind up with the glass and hopefully protect the organs with any rough edges during passing.

I would want to make sure that all the padding came back up.  Does it look like it in the vomit?  Than the pepto is a fine thing to help with the stomach ache.  Hope he's better soon.  Might have the scoots for a while though......

Cotton balls would be for the things that could cut them inside if eaten.
