So I'm starting to look into all the rules for crossing the border hearing up for our trip to Florida at Christmas and some of the rules can be confusing.

We have finally found food for Gypsy that doesn't aggravate her tummy and I'm worried that I might not be a to cross with it cuz it contains lamb. I don't want to have to look for a place that carries her food once I cross and take a chance that they don't have it. Any thoughts?

Also she can be very reactive to strangers especially if they come near me.

All of her paper work and vacations are up to date and her collar clearly states that she is deaf.

Is there anything I need to know?

Maybe put the food in a unmarked bag/container? Or you could put the food in a bag that doesn’t have lamb on the ingredients. I’m not at all familiar with the law saying you can’t bring lamb across the border but I’d be willing to bet they don’t mean dog food that has lamb as an ingredient, I can’t see that being harmful to anyone/anything. If all else fails you could try to mail it.
