Blue is now 8 weeks old, I look at other pictures on here and he looks so tiny compared to the rest of the puppies his age.  I was wondering if we are feeding him enough food.  We give him 1/3 of a cup of food at 6:30am, 12:30pm, and 6:30 pm.  So through out the day he is eating 1 cup of food.  But between those times he is always running to his bowl to check and see if there is food.

At 3:30 each day I give him a tablespoon of nonfat plain yogurt, to help with the throwing up issues he had before and it's working beautifully!!!  We are training him to go outside, so everytime he does he gets a small treat for that.  But it doesn't seem like he's growing that much.  It could be because I see him everyday, and I just don't notice the difference.  I just want to make sure we are feeding him enough.  I know I keep asking tons of questions.  Thank you all for the help you have given us!  Blue is our first boxer puppy and I want to make sure we are doing this right!

Most foods have a chart that tells how much you should feed them.  It goes by there weight.  At 8 weeks Sadie is eating almost 2 cups a day and that's under what they suggest.  We only feed her twice a day though.

The back of the Bil Jac bag says to feed him 1/4 of a cup to 1 cup a day.  He is still understand 10 pounds, at the last vet visit he was 6 pounds.  So that's why we have been keeping his food at a cup a day

How fast is Blue eating when you feed him? If he devours his food in a very short period of time, then I would feed him a little more. The charts on the bag are just guidelines, so if he does seem hungry give him a little more.
I'm glad the yogurt helped with the throwing up issues he was having.
You probably just don't see the growth because you are with him everyday. However, we aren't!!! hint..hint..Pictures....pictures... :winkle:

I always tried to follow the guidelines but ended up letting them eat what they wanted. We free feed so they nibble throughout the day...

I can't get the pictures to load, I think they are too big!  I will try to resize them and post them sometime today!  Sorry, it's taken so long
