For those of you who haven't been forced to read my story, here's the short version. Rowdy will be 8 weeks on Saturday, and we have had him since he was 2 days old. Needless to say I'm proud of him for surviving my attempt to play mother dog. I have a whole new respect for momma dogs; their job isn't easy.  

I finally uploaded a few pictures to photo bucket, and wanted you guys to see them.

That's right, and it was labor intensive, but it was all worth it.

Rowdy's pics are adorable. It appears that you have been an excellent Mommy to him. How wonderful that you took on this daunting task to give him a chance for life. He's looking happy and healthy. KUDOS!!!

He's doing great; he's socializing really well with all the neighborhood dogs. Yes, we have a small pack that play together all the time, and they have accepted him. I have 2 other dogs myself, and they are great with him. Despite being away from dogs for the first 6 weeks of his life, until we could get his first shots, he has done well.

He's also learned to sit, at least when there is a treat involved, and he's got the house training thing figured out. He'll scratch at the door when he needs to go, and as long as he doesn't have to wait long he'll go outside. If you make him wait, then there will be a puddle on the floor in front of the door. I have gotten some great advice on this forum and have become an addict to it; it's great.

What a great job you have done with Rowdy! He is such a sweetie pie and sounds like he's a really good dog as well. I can imagine it's a hard task to raise a puppy from 2 days old, kudos to you for doing it! He's so cute!
