I have a question. My boxer is 2 1/2. He had demodex as a puppy but thankfully it was cleared up over a year ago and thanks to great treatments and regular vitamins and medicated baths he's ha a beatutiful coat since then. I noticed recently some change in fur color or maybe just dry skin or ruffled fur. Mostly on his elbows but also on a couple other spots too. To me, it looks like nothing just something that may be from growing older. I thought maybe he was getting spots on his skin like any boxer does. Like on his white chest you can see where the normal spotting has begun. But I looked at the skin under these areas and it's still white skin not spots. Any ideas what it can be?

I could be many things, thyroid, diet, on the elbows it could be callusing (if he lays on hard surfaces), etc.  Hard to say without seeing it, really.
