I always thought garlic, in moderation, was good for dogs.  Not tons, but a bit is good for their skin, keeps fleas away, etc..  When giving some to Autumn in her food, my boyfriend questioned me considering Onions are very bad for dogs, and both Onions and Garlic are in the Allium family...well I told him it was fine and went on my way.

The other day, however, I was directed to this site http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=pro_apcc_dyk#14 where the aspca says garlic=bad??

In small amounts it is a great flea deterrent...I have given Samson 1/4 tsp daily and had pretty good success. Also a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar in the water helps as well...Along with Brewers Yeast tablets :) I think my babies take more supplements than me
