Ok I have been feeding my 2 Orijen which runs me about 55 bucks a month.  Now I have put in applications to foster boxers.  Now one rescue provides you with everything for the dog vet bills, toys, crate and food.  Not sure about the  other rescues.  Now I dont know if I can swing my current food with more dogs in the house so my question is what others foods that are as good or good for the dogs but wont break mybank.  I had always fed my dogs Pedigree with no problems but now from reading alot of posts on boxer websites foods like predgree are horrible for dogs.  I just wanna give my dogs the best I can afford.  So any help would be g reatly appreciated.

Chicken Soup
Canidae
Diamond Natural Chicken and Rice
Nutro Naturals
Purina One Sensitive Stomachs
I really like Canidae... it is a 5 star food (www.dogfoodanalysis.com) and only costs about $32 for 40lbs.  I haven't kept track exactly, but one bag lasts about a month.
I try to stay under $1/lbs. when buying dog food, lol.
We feed Daphne and Attila: Purina One Adult Large Breed.  She eats it all up but Attila we have to add Sampson Chicken broth and then he eats it.  There are also a few days a month we feed them some rice just to get some food to stick to Attila because he is so small.

I feed Duke Purina Pro Plan Selects.
Thats what I feed but here it isn't inexpensive, $52 for a 33 lb bag.
I do the Pro Plan here to. Its about 40.00 for a fifty pound bag, I try to get it on sale... That lasts us 3 weeks...
we fed nutro natural lamb & rice for year and a 1/2..dogs shed too much and GAINED alot of excess weight( almost 10 lbs extra )

been feeding chicken soup for the dog lovers soul for about 6 months..its wonderful !

$36 for the 35 lb bag''   has duck, salmon, chicken, turkey & veggies..puppy,adult,light,senior ,even kitty dry

& i add extras to make it interesting lol

tried merrick and it made both dogs sick...it just kind of depends on YOUR dog i think..and what their stomach can handle..

wanted canidea or evo innova but dont sell them here in hawaii..
Canidae all the way, both my guys love it and it's a highly recommended food with a 5 star rating.
Newt gets Purina One Adult Large Breed then I also give her some rice every now and then 1 teaspoon of Plain Yogart once a week and sometimes I give her a cooked egg in her food.... Oh and when I have a whole chicken, I boil the liver n stuff and she loves it! Never give chicken bones!
Purina one seems to be pretty good that's what my girl Sexy was on and she loved it...it seemed to give her some extra pep in her old age, it runs about $32 for a large bag....I'm feeding Gaby Medi-Cal which is at the more expensive end, but she just loves it, this one runs $60 for a 33lb bag
Chicken Soup, Purina One, Canidae are the cheapest we've tried with our two.
I feed my puppy Nutro Natural Choice Large Breed puppy...

He loves it and I think it runs like 26 bucks for a 20 lb bag at petsmart.
Ok....I do feed Duke Purina Pro Plan Selects but since we are getting another puppy I found Diamond Natural (Lamb and Rice) Large Breed puppy at Tractor Supply for $30 for a 40lb bag....So I think I'm going to switch to that.

wow, thats expensive!
I know right? It's the only thing his precious little tummy doesn't toss up though.

I thought about going the eukanuba route too...

Same here! I finally found Tyson a food that he loves and doesn't make him "runny".  And it's the Nutro as well.  (I have tried the Canidae, Royal Canine, Authority and a few others).  Nutro has been the winner so far!
I pay $45.00 for a 33lb bag of Innova Adult.  That is about $1.36 per pound.  Luther seems to do really well on it and has no issues at this point.

I was thinking of going to the Innova EVO, but I heard it gives dogs the pooooops....
Hailee eats eukanuba boxer formula and she loves. Doesnt upset he stomach and she has soo much energy and a very pretty coat. I think we pay about a buck a pound, a little on the expensive side but nothing else we tried worked for her so we just stuck with it.

It's all that protein I bet!

Innova makes good stuff.  Nutro, in my opinion, is junk.  A lot of people's dogs probably digest it well because theres nothing in it!  High grade price tag for a low grade food.
