Hi everyone I've looked at lots of postings here and and decided to take "the plunge" and join. I'm so impressed with all the resources and info here,can't wait to be a part of it. DH and I are madly in love with our 10 mo old flashy brindle, Donner. He came to us after our 13 yr old fawn, Sophie passed away 3 weeks before Christmas. Had real misgivings about getting a puppy so soon and at the Holidays, but it has been the best decision we've ever made! Will try to post pics soon-I'm not too computer literate so hope its not too hard!

sorry to hear about sophie, losing a loved one is always difficult but i know like us the new dog will help to fill the void and add new memories!!!

Sorry for your loss. We lost our puppy dog at Thanksgiving and got our little Henry at Christmas. I know how hard it is.
