Dezi's first brithday is Sunday and I don't live anywhere I can buy him a cake for his big day, well anyways I'm wanting to bake him a cake but I don't have any recipes! I've looked on here and some have been successful and some haven't! Any help! I promise I'll post pictures while they are eating them!

YOu could use the muffin recipe and make them extra big..I have 3 sizes of muffin pans, and I made some in my gi-normous tins, they turned out great and used one as a birthday cake for Angel, drizzled some yogurt over the top of it..These are real heavy, literally...I always heat them up in the microwave before I give them to the dogs

Flea Nibblers

Healthy muffins packed with the flavors dogs love. They will think they are eating people food.

Prep Time: 5 mins

Cook Time: 35 mins

Temperature: 350 F

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons honey
2 3/4 cups water
1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
1/8 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1/2 cup chopped peanuts
4 cups whole-wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
1 tablespoon cinnamon
1 tablespoon nutmeg

Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a bowl, mix together honey, water, applesauce, vanilla and egg.
In a separate bowl, mix peanuts, flour, baking powder, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Add wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and stir, mixing well.
Spoon into a greased muffin tin, filling each cup 2/3 full. Bake 35 minutes.

Store in a sealed container.

Makes 16 festive holidog muffins
