As you know I have been having a problem with Delila and her poor eating habits. Snce I got her 2 months today to be exact she was a very picky eater. I had to put additives in her kibble with some warm water, such as soft dog food, gravy, pumpkin, egg, cottage cheese, and many more. She will pick out the goodies and leaves the kibble. Ekim is on Wellness weight management as he is on a diet, last night she ate a whole bowl of his food without any additives. I was at the front door when she snuck in the kitchen and ate Ekims food. So I went out and got her wellness all stages this morning, I added 1/4 cup to 3/4 cups of her old kibble ( pinnicle ) and guess what? she picked out the wellness and left the pinnicle. Same with tonights meal, so she only ate 1/2 cup of food all day. Now I am wondering if she is going to have a belly ache because  the food wasn't mixed, poop was a little soft, she seems hungry and she won't touch the pinnicle and I don't know if I should feed her more of the wellness. Please help me with this I am going crazy at meal time. I have one dog that is to fat and wants to eat everything in site and the other one is starving herself. Ekim did lose 7 lbs since he is on wellness but he seems hungry all the time and poop is a little softer than usual.

LuLu,  Boil up some chicken thighs and brown rice.  They will love it and it will help with her not getting too much of the new food.  You can also add the chicken broth to the left over pinnacle and see if see eats it that way.  Good Luck

Maddie wouldn't touch the pinnacle either. If she is eating the wellness, I would just switch cold turkey. Usually if they were eating a high quality food before the switch, they will rarely have any stomach issues. I wouldn't add anything else to the wellness, if she is eating it alone, any additives may spoil her!   Good luck with the switch!  :D

Poor Delila, she is just being difficult, isn't she? I'd go ahead, like Lisa said and just switch her to the Wellness. Obviously the last thing you need is for Ekim to be eating what she isn't, so that might work for you....

WOO HOO, Well I gave her the regular wellness and she ate 2 full cups with nothing added, she was actually looking for more. I hope cold turkey doesn't cause the poops. Let you know in the morning. Thanks for the advice, I love you guys.
