I know the taxes are rediculously high, im not much of a fan of them myself! Btw I got a kick out of your screen name nice choice lol.

Thanks...sorry..I meant Colleen is from NE. And yeah...we were looking at a $70,000 house (house prices are pretty cheap there) and the taxes were $1,900. I almost sh!t......Our $70,000 houses here (we don't have any that low) but..their taxes are around $300 a year. And then I guess in NE ya'll also have to pay state income tax....now...that's a bumber..But being in Wyoming..we have a great deal of husker fans here..just drive around here on a Saturday..and all ya see is NE flags, and Herbie Huskers out in the front yards...I'm a Pokes fan myself..

WOW Wilber is only 10 miles from me. I am in Dorchester.

I would love to get a NE boxer meeting I haven't met any other boxer owners since i got mine.. How bout it anybody up for a short drive. Omaha is not the far from me only about 1 /12 hours I'll drive up no problem

I spent 2 years in Lincoln, NE one month (and yes; I meant to say that!!) Coming from California; it was total culture shock for me, and I didn't last more then a month. I will say that the rents were cheap, and the jobs were plentiful...I just missed Cali too much.

Coming from just outside of Boston, it was a real culture shock when we moved here the first time. I only lasted a year and we went back to massachusetts. We have been back here for 18 yrs now and i still miss the East coast but its home now.

Kearney here, Are little guy is 5 weeks old and we will be picking him up at the end of the month. Hes Fawn with a black mask and white shortie socks. My friend has a 1 1/2old brindle and white boxer in Grand Island, and he loves to pop regulation size basketballs!!!

We're in Omaha. Kodi would luv a playmate, as our 8 yr old Shiba Inu wants nothing to do with him. She's not used to having such a rambunctious housemate. She's basically a cat in a dog's body.
Do any of u know of any kind of indoor dog park or something around here? Being so friggin cold lately, we really can't take the pups for walks...
