Hey everyone!
It is Neat to find another boxer forum! Can never talk about the silly creatures enough...lol!

Well my name is Sarah, and hubs and i are Vintage Boxers. We have had boxers for a few years now, as well as several other breeds in and out. We exhibit our boxers in conformation and also will be diving head first into, agility, obedience and hopefully tracking. We don't breed, as of yet, as we are learning. But love to support rescue, and do attend our boxer rescue functions!

Right now you could say that i am unemployed, but i spend my days, riding and showing horses and training and showing the dogs!! Right now we have two dogs in our home, a 2 year old flashy fawn-Loki and a 15 week old Flashy fawn male-Harry. Loki is a special dog that right now is learning the skills to be a service dog...hopefully he can surpass my expectations!!! And Harry is our lil showman...he has a zest for the ring, so we are anxiously watching this lil guy grow, and boy is he! And then there is Ella...though she doesn't live here (unless to attend a show, teehee). We co-own this goofy girl with Paula and Jim of Cinema Boxers!!! She is such a joy. And downright beautiful!

Hmm do you think i have flapped my lips long enough??
Well i guess for now, Tootloo!!

Conformation is dog shows...huh...how do describe. You take great representations of the breed into a conformation ring and your dog is evaluated against the breed standard. Your big conformation shows are westminster, crufts, the eukanuba shows on animal planet. That is conformation.

Tracking is scent training. Your dog is trained to track for certain scents. I really want to train in cadaver tracking. so that would be training for human remains.

Hope this has helped.

www.akc.org also is a great place to learn about the different sports to compete in.
