Poor Lulu, but once she gets used to it she may be mad at you for taking her home after daycare  Maybe now that she knows she will not be there forever it will get easier for her.

Kiah loved it when she went, she was always so tired when we left, I think she was thankful so she could sleep but when we would go back she was so excited to be there again.

Ohhh I'm so sorry!! Don't you just hate that!? Gus does that to me every morning when I leave...gives me that look and when I try to kiss his soft little snout, he has none of it! Did you try buttering her up with some treats?!

Ours are gonna have to be boarded this summer.  The wife has already said the pups would stay behind while we go on vacation this year.  I'd take them in a heartbeat!  I'm used to seeing them everyday, and I'm sure I'll miss them.  I'm trying to convince a friend to take care of them, hopefully she will.  I've offered to pay her and she'll be off work since she's a teacher.

Oh, I tried treats on the way home.  She ate the treats, but still wouldn't have anything to do with me.   When she would eat the treat, she would look away from me.

I totally know what you mean about the guilt trips.... I go every other weekend to my boyfriends and lately I have been leaving her at home with my roommate (since she has a Boxer too) and when I get my bags ready and sit them by the door she goes and sits on them and tries to drag them away from the door. Then last weekend my roommate called me when I was on my way back home to tell me that Tessie was laying on my bed crying. As soon as I got home she jumped off my bed went into my roommates room and hid from me under the bed... she stayed there all night and would not even come and sleep with me which is her favorite thing to do....

Dungy has never did that to me but he did it to drew.  Drew was here for a 3 day weekend and when it was time for him to go he had all his stuff and went up to dungy to say goodbye dungy REFUSED to give him kisses, didnt even want him close to him.  Drew was SOOOO upset.  He actually started crying, which made me cry, cuz he was like " its bad enough that i have to leave u but i have to leave our baby too" it was the cutest thing ever. Fianlly dungy gave him a kiss and drew left.  Dungy layed down at the door and cried for about an hour lol.

Samson is the "KING" of guilt trips...I've had to make a few trips out of town in the last couple years to settle my parents estate, every time I come back, Samson gives me the cold sholder, sometimes for a couple days!!!! He's such a snot...So don't feel singled out, it happens to a lot of us.... :) Oh they do know how to play us don't they?

That is so funny!  They sure can give you the guilt look and totally ignore you until they are ready!  Ours do that all the time, especially if they don't get what they want!  :D

awww poor lulu! Its so funny how much emotion they can really show huh?!

I feel like this is what Tucker is going to do come friday.... He goes to our vet for the week starting this friday (as im going down to FL woo hoo!) But I feel horrible... I feel like he is going to hate me when I go pick him up. We had the neuter appt all set up for that week so he could recover at the vets office, but I felt so bad that he was going to be in a strange place for a week that I cancelled the appt lol. So now hes just going for boarding, but I still dont think he is gonna be too happy...

Now that you mentioned it, my dog Cash did this once.

My husband and I would take him everywhere we went within reason of course.  Well, we were headed to my mom's house and decided to leave him.  Well, Cash was none to happy about that.  As soon as we loaded up in the car, he followed us down the driveway, and gave us the pouty lip look.  We had to stop and just look, because it was so funny.  Well, we decided he could go, so we open the door, and of course he hopped in.  Funny thing was, he turned to face the back of the car, and kept looking over his shoulder as if to say "How dare you think of leaving me!  How could you!".....It was so funny, yet so perfect.  I miss him dearly!
