Makes sense to me...maybe even being a bit territorial?! Jackson(sis in laws dog) gets that way when other dogs want to play with Haley!

That is very possible Angela..Samson so far has never stepped into that role with Angel, except when a puppy is involved, then, he protects the puppy, not Angel!!
