hello  ihavent been here in a while but today i have a health concern, part of one of joes teeth came out like just cracked off i dont know if its a new one or not , he is five months today, he is a chewer but only his toys and bully stick his back two moulars look like there may be food in them but i need another hand to try to brush them when do they loose ther baby teeth?

I asked my vet and baby teeth are lost at different stages, Logan lost all of his by 6 months or so, going off memory sorry. They do continuously loose them though. I think my vet said it takes up to 2yrs of age before all are gone and back. Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I brush Logan's every month or more often as needed. I use a vanilla flavored tooth paste for dogs that he loves so it only takes me to do it. Was there blood?

You can try and brush them to remove the extra food....and generally I would think he is loosing puppy baby teeth as long as the tooth is not broken off where you can still see part of that tooth at the gum line
