Hi I was wondering if Boxers howl? We always try to get Baz to howl but he just looks at us like we are crazy!

What is this woowooing? Is it talking? Baz talks to us all the time, if he wants attention it sounds like a growl but his tail its wagging. When we first got him him we had no idea what was going on when he did it.  He'll usually do it when we are laying together and he wants to be laying in between us.  Or if one of us gets home and we aren't paying attention to him yet.  It's the funniest noise in the world.
