I've never heard of them, but they seem to have plenty of show champions, health test, etc..plus they're Bronco fans, can't go wrong there.
I would beg to differ on the Bronco fans part!!! J/K J/K :tease:

They've gotten a few of their dogs from the kennel where Angel originally came from Donje, in Mississippi, I haven't heard of them, but then again, that's Heather's area of expertise, not mine :) I notice that they have a litter on the ground, are you looking at one of the pups? I do see they health test and have results, I like that

jill, I thought the same thing when I saw the bronco's jerseys..:(

Willow, probably not one of these puppies (althought they are way cute and irresitable) but possibly the next litter that they have....just want to find a good breeder, get to know them, see what they are like etc.

If they are close enuf I would start getting to know them now..Go out and see the facilities, the dogs and talk..I find that's the best way to really get a better idea of what the breeder and their program is all about

Quick look / quick comments -

They dont have any dogs that are Ch (not that it matters) but on their home page they says they have bred 9 home bred champions. So that just sparks some interest -on who and where they are. I do see the CH page, however all those dogs were shown in the early 2000s -

They have many dogs, how many are activly showing. They also breed their own bitches to their own studs - many of time a breeder does not have the perfect match for their own bitch in their own backyard - hence why many breeders collaborate to come up with a breeding plan to produce the best pedigree they think will be an excellent representation of the standard.

However can never judge a breeder by their website. I just pointed out some items that would want to make me investigate them a bit further. For their health testing - look up on OFA to see if the dogs are indeed cleared thru OFA. Many of time people can just put that they are, when they are not (not saying this is the case) but sometimes many puppy buyers think because the said dog says its heath tested, then it must be - always see proof:)

Here is another good starting point - talk to them, even if you are are not even close to getting a puppy - find out their goals, their morals and where they are trying to go with their program. See if you like what they have to say, go see their dogs, where they live and where the dogs are whelped. Research is free - a puppy is part of your life!! Good Luck!!!

I think the parent's champion titles and OFA numbers should be on the litter registration....I think...So I would ask to see that. I too noticed they breed their own studs to their own bitches. But I also noticed they have purchased their line of boxers from all over the country.

I don't know how I missed this.

I must say that I absolutely LOVE Sabrina Olson and her dogs. This breeder is actually my ABSOLUTE FIRST pick based on a lot of things. I guess we just "clicked" and whatnot, and we are getting along fantastic. I am actually considering removing myself from Telstar and Turo's "wait lists" and strictly wait until Sabrina has another litter.
I was not impressed by the website at first, but I called her, and spoke with her, and must say that we talk almost daily now. She has helped me SO much. She has also said that if she happens to not have EXACTLY what we are looking for, then she will help us find the perfect puppy for us when the time is right.
I know she has three happy healthy puppies right now. We use the same vet, and he has assured me that by getting a puppy from her- I'll be getting a perfectly healthy one.
She is not actively showing right now, but those dogs are seriously her life. Showing can be very expensive, and to take a dog to CH just doens't really happen in Utah, meaning A LOT of travel. With a family and whatnot, it's not realistic for everyone. This woman may not have CH in front of every dogs name, but many of her puppies do get their titles, and one look at her dogs (I'm OBSESSED with Mia) was all I needed to know that they are beautiful. (granted I'm more concerned about other breeding practices and HEALTH than I am every dog having a title, but that's just me)
I was talking with her for nearly three hours the other day, just chatting about Boxers, our search (since she does not have any females expecting right now) she is SO passionate about what she does. SHe has MANY show quality puppies that she places in pet homes because it's the best for the dog, even though it does not add to her name whatsoever. She's amazing. When all the show breeders treated Jon and I like total crap because we're not a "show home" Sabrina was so incredibly kind to us. I called her near tears after being treated like dirt from a kennel in Arizona for not being a show home.
I have never met this woman. I in no way benefit financially from her breeding program. What I do know is if you CALL HER she will answer any questions you might have, and be MORE THAN WILLING to find you a puppy that you want- even if she doens't have it. Before you rule her out- CALL HER. Seriously.
I know she has Telstar, R & G, and Turo lines.

Anyway, that's my two cents.

Annie bannanie came from this breeder, she was of the litter mentioned already. I could not have asked for a better puppy, nor a better all around experience with this breeder. Sabrina did not devalue us as a NON show home. Annie was evaluated as show quality, and here she is, in a pet home, on a spay contract.
I could not say enough good about Sabrina and Legendary Boxers.

Legendary Boxers

Hello--I have purchased four boxers from Sabrina Olson of Legendary Boxers in Moroni, UT. All of my babies have been healthy and have made fantastic pets. Sabrina is an honest breeder and is devoted to breeding healthy, quality boxers. I consider Sabrina a friend and recommend that anyone who is looking for a wonderful boxer (pet or show quality) contact her. She offers a 1 year health guarantee and has all of her boxers health tested prior to breeding.

It's strange to bring up a very old thread lol.. But I have some speculation about her breeding practices. From what I have seen she has litter upon litter. She has two litters on the ground now and is begging and pleading for people to spread the word about her current puppies.. She is trying to sell multiple puppies from different litters on facebook. Reputable breeders do NOT need to do this. This raises a big red flag IMO...

If I was seriously looking for a reputable breeder I think I would pass on this one.

Before considering her pups I would for sure check her involvement in conformation showing, proof of health tests, etc.

I have purchased a boxer from her & it has has demodetic mange(which I found out another pup from the litter had gotten also) my dog also has problems with ACLs in both legs my vet says both of these things come from the breeding. Love Sabrina but I am disappointed.
