Has anyone heard of this?  Has anyone's dog had this shot?  I took Barkley to the vet today and they told me to think about having that vacination done.  Incase he may encounter ticks.  Just wanted some input on this one cus I've never heard of it.

When I had adopted Kiah she had been given the shot,  it was on her records but I don't really know how effective it is.
