Great tip on plastic dishes and storage containers, hadn't heard about either one before. Just a thought about the chin, our last boxer had terrible chin scabs and pimple-like bumps. When we took out our carpets and changed to hard wood floors the spots went away. I finally realized that when she chewed her toys on the floor her chin was breaking out from the rubbing, maybe the nylon in the carpet?
