Oh...and good boy for doing your obedience sitting and laying!  I think mine want the treat more than the praise too, though..but he looks soo serious....my two get this look like they are smiling every time they see a treat come out, lol!

I need to teach Odin how to sit pretty without licking... he was going nuts on the children in the neighborhood yesterday! LOL Of course kids don't mind but that TONGUE IS HUGE!! lol

Do you give him cookies? I bought those three dog bakery cookies at walmart/wallgreens... I about DIED when I gave it to Sarah to give to Odin and she TOOK A BIG BITE!! Guess she didn't hear the dog part... where I said... GO give it to Odin! She didn't like it anyway! lol Was funny though!

Mav will do obedience for milk bones really well. i get the puppy size. ive tried with wellness bars etc and he likes those for "free" but he will only do one or two sits but once he gets a couple cookies he loses interest. with the milkbones he will do it forever so it is like his junk food.

i know...maybe that is why sometimes he doesnt do the commands and just looks at the cookie lol. he knows he is going to get it regardless...i just cant say no i give him different command until he does it and gets the cookie! he is too cute. they all are!
