Jack is my parents boxer named after Jack Dempsey...the boxer...I will possibly have him come into my home, which is fantaastic because I just love Jack Jack, he is the reason I wanted to get a boxer....

So meet Jack JACk!!

This is jack jack at about 10 months old




This was taken the day before he was stolen



This is the day he came home renamed "ozzy" by the person who stole him...



While my husband was gone to Iraq I moved to fort hood a little over a month before he got home...and this is when he met Jack Jack for the first time....with his pimp hat on.

And this is Jack meeting LEtte for the first time, it was like they were meant to be together.

Jack jack is beautiful!! i love the very light brindles!! I to am curious how you were able to get him back, especially if it were from the person who took him! I am glad he did come home though!!

A lady that we didnt know stole him out of my parents business yard...she took his collar off and everything...She then took him to the same vet which he goes tooo...and well they know Jack Jack quite well, because he is always doing something to himself like cutting his foot and he was chipped...well, my mom had already called the vet to tell them Jack Jack was missing...and the lady brought him in...and they scanned him, and sure enough it was jack jack...and the lady told them she had found him (which we knew he never escaped cause the black lab my parents have was still there, and his collar was laying on the outside of the fence)...So, the vet called my mom and told her they had jack ...(she had "ozzy" for about a week)  Now, my parents have locks on their business fence, it sits on over 2 acres and is completely fenced in, but has like 3 gates so it would be hard to see all three gates, well they are all locked now and only us family members have the keys  We were just glad to get him back

YEah the thing about where my parents live is the town is sooo small there are only two vets...she had a 50 50 chance...but my mom had called both vets and emailed pics to the vet she did not go too...people are dumb too...take the boxer to the next town over lol lol lol  We love him, and we were saaaaaaaaaaaaad when he was gone....but we are glad he is back!  Sometimes when I go see him, I say Ozzy to see if he will look at me...lol...he never does!!

What a handsome boy he is and what a great story about you all got him back....Makes me feel even better about us putting locks on all of our gates, for that very reason....Him & Lette would compliment each other

They are reaching retirement age, and although they want to keep him, they are also looking at moving into a loft condo community that doesnt allow  LARGE pets...in downtown Austin.  Sooooo they know that they will see me all the time, I try to go see them at least two weekends of the month....and I always bring Lette, and would take JAck JAck too...They are still looking around for a property that allows large pets because for the most part they will be traveling and would like to take JAck with them but they are having problems finding a place in downtown austin that allows large animals...they are buying not renting so the Board of directors for the community would have to approve him...And they know I would take extra special care of him because I love him.  If I didnt offer to take him, they were going to just stay where they were for a few more years...lol...but this way they can pick him up and take him with them when they go travel and they will still see him regularly.

sounds like a perfect solution...Lette gets her playmate...your parents get to spend time with him and not have to worry about finding a place that allows big dogs...and you get another baby to love!  Hope it works out!

Jack Jack and Lette look fantastic together.  I'm so happy to hear a return story of a missing dog!  It makes me feel great, but I wish there were more consequences for people who steal family pets.  I have my dogs chipped, Jetta is a guard dog at heart she'd never let anyone take her willingly but Oscar is a sweetheart he'd go with whoever!
