This is really gross, just to warn you.  My boxer puppy is 6 months old.  Anytime he can find small clothing he eats it.  This seems to only happen when I am doing laundry.  He can get it out of the basket or if I drop something.  You can't take your socks off in the recliner at night because he will eat them when you aren't looking.  I don't know how we miss it.  However, a few days later he will get sick and up comes the whole pieces of clothing.  This is gross.  The worst thing about it is that this could seriously hurt him and make him very sick.  WHAT DO I DO?

Well, I have had to go to shutting the door to the closet where the dirty clothes baskets are kept..Ashley is an undies thief...she just can't seem to help herself   [-X
I would simply not let clothes lie anywhere that your dog can munch them! Get a cllothes hamper if needed, and set strict rules in the home that nothing hits the floor or anyplace that your dog will find them. Believe me..having an obstuction removed surgically is ALOT more expensive than a covered clothes hamper from Wal-mart!!

Oh Linda, I hear ya about the undie sitch! Both Angelina and Bibby BOTH are "stealers"!  I get so mad when I find my new Victoria's Secret pretty little things under the DINING TABLE (!) only to find holes chewed in them!  :uhoh:

My cousin has a lab that will eat whole bath towels and poop them out.  Anything that's a towel she'll go after.  Pretty much the only thing they can do is keep any towels away from her and make sure everything is out of reach.

Zulu chewed right through our laundry basket, thats how focused he was on eating hubbys boxers!

Boxers and socks were his thing when he was smaller and we ended up having the basket in the spare room with the door closed :D

Picking up poo in the garden was like a lucky dip, you never knew what you were gonna find! 8O

Luckily he grew out of it 8O
