Here is a little background info on Allie:

She was the runt of the litter, and the last to be sold. We brought her home at about 4 months old, and she had been crate trained, but not leash trained. When I first tried to put the lead on her, she freaked out, wouldn't get out of the car, and wouldn't move.

She seems scared to death of the thing. I have tried to take her out to the yard with it on, but I struggle with getting her there. She is a little over a year old now, and despite my numerous attempts at training her, nothing seems to work. I don't want to drag her around on it because she is already a rather timid girl, but I don't know what else I can do. Any suggestions?

isis was 4 wwhen i got her and she was left in a cage those 4 yrs..when i tried to put a leash on her she looked at me like i beat her..was aweful

i put the leash on her in the house and let her drag it around..she got less scared and started to ralize it was ok and it meant we were going somewhere..now she stil doesnt love the leash but she tolerates it just fine..doesnt pull or anything
