We have had our new baby for a week now and she still does not have a name, we have been calling her baby girl but she needs a name. Can you all help please.  She was born on 12/07/07 (Pearl Harbor Day) her mothers registered name is Pearl's Baby Girl and her fathers is Power Stroke Desiel. Does anyone have any suggestions? She is brindle and one of her ears is white and the side of her face is brinde, the other ear is brindle and that side of her face is white.

Thanks!!
Meghan

Well, with the exception of the Pearl Harbor ships, most all of the suggestions so far feel too foo-foo.  And the Pearl Harbor ones just  leave me cold.

I suggest "Scout" because it's the name of a scrappy girl from American lit and it would make her Atticus's soul mate sorta. ;-)

Sorry to borrow Odin's Moms theme..Greek:
Alexia = female format of Alexius meaning "defender"
Alexus = same as above( Call her Lexi )
Calisto = Derived from Kalliste, meaning "most Beautiful"...call her Cali
Rhea = meaning "birth waters"..weird, but I love the name itself

Just a few I had on my list till DH overrode me and nameed my pup Ashley FORCE....oh for pete's sake!!

I was trying to think of German names.  I'm not too creative - good luck!  She's a cutie!  I've never seen so much white on a brindle (of course, this is coming from someone who has a brindle with only a white chest and a few white toes   ).

I would name her something like... Berry, the brindle eye looks like some kind of Berry like strawberry! It's super cute!  I've met a lot of dogs named Izzy and they just don't seem right in the head.  I like Dotty too.
Good luck picking the perfect name!
