Great to meet you and welcome in! Sorry for your loss, it’s particularity hard when you lose one at a young age. I have had some tragedies as well but I don’t let that stop my love of the breed i am just much much more careful now when selecting a breeder now. I will not get anymore puppies from backyard breeders only breeders that are doing health and genetic screenings they cost more but are worth it. Even with breeders that are screening you have to still be careful so it pays to do research. Good luck finding your new friend when you are ready I just can’t imagine my life without a Boxer in it!

Welcome Aboard and sorry for your loss! And six years? Yeah what really sucks! But sadly n9t unusual. Boxers are great dog's, but a longish life span ... Is not really one of there high point's! But again welcome aboard, in any case.

Welcome in! This isn't a super active forum but there are lots of great folks here. I followed a trail of tears here myself a few years back when my boy was stricken with cancer (almost no lead time and 6 years old as well). Everyone was so kind and helpful, boxers are the only bread for me too. Like Chip said longevity is not a trait of the breed so we just make the most of every day we have with them. Hope you find the right pup for yourself, it's nice to see new folks on board.
