Hello I am Hannah, I am the mommy to two white boxers. One who is deaf and one who is not. Dory is almost 4 and she is not deaf we have had her for almost a year. She is so spoiled and loved by myself and my family. We just yesterday rescued Mac from his old owners. He is my deaf sweetie pie. He is in rough shape, but we are working with our vet to get him back to a healthy happy boy.

Dory has two brown eyes and Mac has a blue eye and a brown eye.

How are you training him? We are working on some simple signs and just getting him back to the right weight. Anyone that says that having a deaf dog is easy lie. LOL but it is not as hard as I thought.

Everyone else thanks. I love Mac. I am so glad that he wasn't put down.
We are doing simple signs as well. He knows sit, down, stop and good boy. We start puppy class on Monday so I'm anxious to see what they recommend. They said I'd be learning some sign language. I wouldn't say having a deaf dog is easy but it's not as hard as I thought. He really does follow our other dogs' lead, which is a good thing.....most of the time.
