Ok, so I'm not IN Madison, but Madison sounds much cooler than Evansville. In my defense though, I spend most of my time in the city, and come to this armpit to sleep.

Just wondering though who's in the area, and if any "events" happen around here. Traveling isn't an issue, I just want to do as much socializing with different dogs and people as possible

Hi - Welcome from another Wisconsin person. You're lucky to be close to Madison, we're down here in the armpit (SE area). I don't know much about what's going on up your way. You might want to attend the Boxer Bash, the Green Acres Boxer Rescue event, in Green Bay this summer. We've got the Milwaukee Boxer Club down here, I bet Madison has one.

Welcome to the forums! While I'm not in WI, I do have to say you guys not only have the best cheese you have some of the best brewery's too! My brother in-law lives in Madison and always sends me a variety of great beers for Christmas. If I could only find someone who travels from SE Michigan to WI on a regular basis I would be set!

my dad lives right outside of lansing, i make a trip there every month and a half or so....


i found madison has the badger kennel club, not boxer specific, but its close, and seems a good way to keep socialization going in a controlled environment... at least until im comfortable enough to let him go without a leash in a dog park. I checked out the milwaukee boxer club site, but it hasnt been updated in a looong time, so I dont know if i should call or wait.
