Help With Allergies

I have a 9 month old Boxer and we are having crazy allergy problems with him.  At the moment he has a Histiocytoma on his head that is very red and inflammed.  We can't get him to leave it alone, we have tried cones but he gets them off no matter what and chews them, we've been through 5.  I am looking for any advice on speeding up the process or how to get him to stop scratching it.  We are also beginning to change his food to one without any wheat in it so I am hoping that will help. But if anyone can offer some advice I would appreciate it.

Re: Hey guys guess what!

Hystiocytomas are very common in boxers and they go away on their own. Im sure someone here has more info but when Roxy had one it lasted about 2 months if that!

Not trying to be rude but should start this post else where like in the HEALTH section! You may get more replies!

Can one of the moderators move this to its own separate thread?? Thank you

Put two pairs of baby socks on his feet.  If you do this, it doesn't stop his scratching , but will reduce the amount o f irritation that the sore is subjected to.
