hi everyone its been awhile since i've been on.. and some of you know i posted a thread awhile ago on the lump i found in Cash's lower adbonminal area, so we then took him to the vet, they did a biopsy and said everything was fine, that the tumor was just a "fatty tumor".. well everything was not fine

after about three weeks i notice a huge change in the tumor it was growing, and gotten alot bigger, this made me very concerned and i wanted it to be removed asap, so we decided to take him to a different vet, when the vet was examining Cash he said the tumor felt hard and didn't feel like a normal fatty tumor.. so they were also going to do a biopsy as well on the tumor before removing it..

well come to find out my boy has Hemangiosarcoma it's a form of cancer, that attacks the blood vessels and spleen, this tumor reoccurs even after being removed, it can be found almost anywhere in the body since blood vessels are necessary in almost all body tissues and because these tumors arise in internal organs, theres little warning that they are present, the average time from discovery of the tumor until death occurs in affected dogs is six to eight weeks but death occurs more rapidly than this in a number of cases. :(:weep:

i'm really shocked and i didn't think this was going to happen to us, but it did and i'm trying to deal with it, but its really hard  i feel like throwing up

i love my cash so so sooooooo much i can't see my life without him!! please send prayers our way.. thanks so much my boxer family <3 :pray::pray:

I'm so sorry, this is the hardest part of owning a dog. We'll be here for you and give you all the help we can. I suggest seeing a holistic vet, they can do amazing things when it comes to cancers and tumors.
Also, Vets are wrong all the time, don't lose hope. It can be very difficult to tell whats happening in a tumor with just an aspirate, and vets are general practitioners, not specialists.
If it was me, I would be aggressive, do everything you can for your baby, and spend as much time with him as you can. Enjoy your time, hopefully you will have many years to come. You'll be in my prayers.

I'm so sorry to hear about Cash. I had to put my dog Zeus down a few years ago due to lymphoma, and it was one of the hardest things I've ever done, so I feel your pain. I hope for the best for you and Cash, and will definitely keep you guys in my prayers.

I am so sorry. My heart goes out to you, I lost my last boxer boy to a large heart based tumor. I spent as much time as I could with him, every minute was precious. I sang alot of songs to him cuz he really loved that. I hope that you have lots of quality days left with Cash. He is so blessed to have you.

Is it possible you could take Cash to a specialist for evaluation/second opinion?

 im very sorry to hear about this.. isnt it funny the one thing that can brighten our lives like nothing else can , can also crush it :((( .. i said to my pup when i got her "one day, you're going to break my heart" she just looked at me.. I cried when my other girl (14year old now) had some skin cancer things detected on her body 5 years ago.. i was living on my own with no family around (they were all living interstate) i was being strong the wholee time for her.. we got home from the vet and she looked at me and i just started crying i couldnt help it .. it was then i realised they dont need me .. i need them .. shes my rock. She is ok now just "old womens" issues and living with my fam (parents and sisters) only 10mins up the road ... and as i missed having that special little one to myself.. i got my little Elly now .. and like i said ..ive set myself up for some major heartbreak.. Im a BIG BIG baby when it comes to my puppies and im a 32yo male :D , i would drop everything for them! .. i wish you luck with your little one, stay strong!
