During the week after I get home from work and I need to run an errand I leave Harleigh outside since she has been crated all day. Never more than an hour. She is always good when I return. Today I come home, bring her in and I am wiping her feet down and everything and noticed these red/pink spots on her belly by her back legs. I only took pics of the obvious ones but she has 5 or so. One by her tail and another one on her leg and 3 of them on her belly. Anyone know what they are? Kinda freakin' out here.....

They look like bites, maybe while laying in the grass something bit her.  I have a slight allergy to mosquito bites and they look like that after they bite me.

Sorry I'm no help either. Perhaps bug bites of some sort. Hopefully Sharon will be able to give you a better answer. Hope Harleigh is feeling alright.

Thank you for your quick responses.

Harleigh is acting totally normal. Good to know they are/could be "just" bug bites. I will wait til the morning to see how they are. John said he would take her to the vet if need be but glad to know it may not be necessary.

I tell you what I was so scared when I saw them. Took me by surprise.

I just saw this....so hopefully things are better by now....But, I agree that they look like bites and hopefully some cream has taken care of things.....however...keep an eye on them for getting bigger, more or worse, because the only other thing that came to my mind was ringworm :)

Ringworm? YIKES! I sure hope not since she is UTD on everything possible. Can they still get ringworm even though they have been wormed?

This morning the spots were still there, more whiteish in the inside and red on the outside. Looks very strange. And perhaps a little larger. Maybe it was my eyes playing tricks on me.

But aside from this, I am a little worried about my dear Harleigh in another aspect. Just yesterday I noticed that she had almost clear urine and peed in my house twice without ringing her bell. To me it seemed as though she couldn't hold it and just went before she could reach the bell. This is VERY strange behaviour as I can't even remember the last time she had an accident. Well, Harleigh also sleeps with me. I crawled into bed and noticed a wet spot. Not sure when it happened. I smelled it and it didn't really smell like urine. Well off went those sheets and a new set on. This morning I woke up to a nother wet spot. I smelled it again and it didn't really smell like urine. But then it had me thinking if her urine is almost clear would it have a urine smell to it. So now I wonder, is she "peeing the bed"? and what could this mean?

Oh and I have to say last night I woke up out of a DEAD sleep from her notorious gas. It was so bad I could taste it. All I could think of is the post that Ashley's mom posted a couple days ago. It was down right raunchy smell.

Poor Harleigh needs her bottom checked I'd say. Yes, Ginger..that was the WORST odor I ever smelled, but believe me..you could not ( or WOULD not ) get very close to smell it. I am wonder if the UTI is a culprit for Harleigh..maybe she ( like Ashley ) just lets "loose" in the middle of the night, and has a little bit of piddle run out of her from an infection.
Poor baby, at least I am only dealing with the butt grease bandit ( and Sharon was right..happened just one night..we had NO issues last night, AND no hiney dragging..I am hoping one of her wild dreams she had scared the stink out of her!) I'll just say, you would not be saying it had little to no odor..this stuff sticks to your nostril hairs!! LOL
I hope your baby is feeling better soon!

I actually have ring worm right now..i know..gross. But it is going away rather quickly, so no biggie.
I had it a couple of years ago... It started on my stomach, and it spread all over my body because i use a loofa instead of just using the bar of soap... I had about 10 different spots on my body that had it.
